Dear anybody who has proven to know the internet well enough to find me – or who I have given this web address to.
This blog will be guided by two principles: „A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step“ and „Perfectionism is the enemy of productivity“.
It is new and unexperienced. It does not thrive to go anywhere but be a learning project for me – yet.
I am hoping to learn how to do this blogging thing which to me currently feels like learning Chinese. I am hoping for new experiences and to get a littler better each time along the way. I am also wondering what will happen to me when I start writing and which ideas and topics I enjoy most, hoping to find a focus for this blog (or my life, I’ll take whichever comes).
When reading blog posts about „How to start blogging“ you get the impression that everything needs to be perfect before you start. Your target audience, your selling strategy, the look of your blog/homepage etc. It is a mystery to me how anyone can get started with this mindset. I wanted to get everything perfect as well but soon enough found that perfectionism is the killer of productivity (hence, the second principle). Thus, I will just start, try my best and surely will not promote this thing before I feel confident enough!
Also, because I am fluent in German and English, I will write every article in both languages and post them after another until I learn how to have a language switch button…
